I can't put it down--fascinating.  I. of course never knew of Alice's problems--poor dear. THANK YOU so much for sending me her book.  I immediately started reading it when the mailman delivered it today, and into the third chapter I said "Nancy, you've got to STOP".  You have other things that must get done.  However, I shall take it to bed with me this evening planning to read on.  Please pass my congratulations along to Alice and  especially for autographing her book.  I'm privileged. 

My bone density is of a 21 y. o., so I am okay there.  However, I've got severe osteoarthritis that is causing compression fractures in my back.  A long story I won't get into, but I'll read with great interest what Alice wrote.  I too had endometriosis when I was young which caused great problems -- every month and also trying to get pregnant.  I was told to keep nursing as long as possible, as during pregnancy and lactation (think that's the word for breast feeding) the growths tend to dry up- never did find out if that was true or not.
